Ann Roberts, 32, of Dugan’s Court, was charged on remand with Attempting to Commit Suicide by tying a rope round her neck - The report from the Chaplain showed that the woman had expressed herself to the effect that she had no intention of committing suicide, but had done what she did to frighten her husband - He now promised to look after his wife so the accused was discharged.
